McAfee expiring on daughters new laptop-suggestions,please?

Got my daughter the new Dell Inspiron laptop. The free MCAfee is expiring in several days. We run AVG and Spyware Terminator on our desktop,we are wondering if we should install both on daughter's laptop,or is there something better. Thank you for your help.
