Do family history centers provide information on living relatives?

I'm now thinking about taking a trip to Stokes County, North Carolina, because one of my ancestors, Reuben Carmichael was born there in 1814. But I'm curious to know if family history centers can tell you who and where your living relatives are related to this ancestor.
