I'd like to become a real estate investor (flipping homes or keeping some for rental). Should I incorporate?

I have an opportunity to get into purchasing foreclosure properties. I'd like to either flip the homes or keep some for rental income. I'm thinking of setting up LLC for this purpose, and was wondering if this is a wise move?
