Chi or Babyliss Straightener?

I used to have a Babyliss-it was one of their first models. The cord randomly just broke on me and it wouldn't turn on. I never dropped it or anything like that. Hopefully they're better quality these days. I know Chi has been top of the line for YEARS. So if you're saying it still is, i'd go with the Chi straightener because the company must be doing something right in order to preserve their ranking for this long.
